IS MICC?
briefly
micc is an Italian contemporary artist who loves to harmfully provoke others with the intent to originally trigger thoughts in those who observe the works.
Throughout the years, micc has consistently used digital techniques, ranging from graphic design to 3D art. However, it's crucial to understand that the primary "technique" behind his works is the concept he aim to convey, rather than the technical precision.
If a sculptor is recognized for how he carve, micc seeks to excel in how he communicates ideas.
First official exhibition. (No solo)
More than 500 people came to see it.
A lot of debts were accumulated for the production of the works.
Every day during COVID, I learned how to use 3D software.
It took me two years to get the username micc on Instagram; before that, the branding was under a different name.
micc was born out of personal expression. There are no other reasons for its creation.
Production of 8 completely different works in an exhibition more amateurish than a bad porn video.
The audience was from a little town, mostly aged over 70.
I was the only one who didn’t present paintings of Jesus or landscapes. There were plenty of those.
I worked for the worst clients you could imagine during my lunch breaks at university, just to scrape together money for printing the posters.
Every week, I borrowed a car from someone to set up installations at night on the streets of Rome.
The artworks were mainly graphic design.
