Fuck, I really hate Italian TV. My anger focuses on two main areas: evening journalism and the special guests on afternoon shows. These are people you’d never expect to see talking on television. But the real problem isn’t them, it’s those who take them seriously, simply because the medium is TV. It shapes the thoughts and behavior of its viewers. The real "New Media" isn’t a smartphone or a VR headset, but the ability to spout bullshit for an hour or two and convince the best part of the population: the bored and absent-minded.
