For three years, I worked as an Art Director in a well-known, massive consulting multinational, in the communication department. Three days a week, we had the opportunity to work from home. The stories we shared and what we were all experiencing were always the same: low salaries, rushing to the bathroom in fear of missing a call, the bed-to-desk route being the only exercise that the little time allowed, a room that became our home/kitchen/office, and the biggest fear for everyone: being marked as absent during the day, especially if there was no work to do. This image tries to depict that cage that my colleagues and I lived in for so long.
