“Please, Pietà” is a modern reinterpretation of Michelangelo's famous Pietà, entirely reimagined and created in 3D. This work transposes the classical iconography into a contemporary context, depicting the plight of today's homeless. The title, blending English and Italian, becomes a silent cry for help, evoking both a plea for compassion and the weight of despair. The use of the word Pietà in its original language is deliberate, a semantic play that underscores the profound meaning of mercy—universal and timeless—that the work seeks to evoke.
