“Sorry, You Can’t Log Out” was born from the feeling of mental weakness caused by endless social media scrolling, an infinite loop that keeps us from closing the app. It’s that mechanism that robs us of decision-making power, leaving us unable to say “enough,” instead repeating “just 5 more minutes.” This feeling of disorientation and dependency is something we all experience, so I tried to capture that while creating a character who is desperately trying to escape this cycle. However, there’s no way out, and he will inevitably be pulled back into his screen.
